Traditionally used by Guaraní chamanes for nourishment, as a natural stimulant, and medicine, “cebar” Yerba Mate has become an integral and common ritual of friendship, community, and hospitality within South America.

We will learn about YM’s origins and explore the relationship between the mundane and the sacred through ritual.
